Best Nudist Beaches in Costa del Sol. The Costa del Sol is full of lively and comfortable urban beaches. As well as semi-urban beaches there are a few beaches for fun in the sun the nudist way. The 160 km of the Costa del Sol coast has currently six nude beaches that we will describe below. Specifically, there are four nudist beaches on the western Costa del Sol and two nudist beaches on the eastern Costa del Sol.

COSTA NATURA

Costa Natura Beach
Costa Natura is near the Málaga municipality of Estepona and inaugurated in 1979, and was the first naturist complex in Spain. Although the surrounding area is full of buildings, once inside the complex we find a total oasis: a white village of apartments set amongst lush gardens, palm trees, geraniums and bougainvillea. Facilities include a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room; Massage room and tennis courts. Part of the Arroyo Vaquero beach, located in front of the complex, is signposted as a naturist area. To get to the Costa Natura beach, take the N-340 after the roundabout where there is a sign indicating Estepona, and take the turnoff leading to the beach (about 1 km). This nudist beach about 400 m long with sand and gravel.



CABOPINO

Playa Artola
Artola Beach. If you are looking for an extensive nudist beach surrounded by dunes and pine trees, this is the beach for you. It is located to the west of the Marina of Cabopino, in Marbella. Its waters are not deep, so it is ideal for children. The part destined for those who do not practice the nudism counts on restaurants, showers, first aid and habitual facilities of the urban beaches. In the nudist area there is no service. The entire beach is about 1,200 meters long, of which only one part is reserved for naturism. Coming from Fuengirola, on the N-340 coastal road, take the Cabopino detour, continue through two roundabouts and follow the signs for the parking lot. Access is on the right.



BENALNATURA

Benalnatura Beach. A small naturist paradise near the casino in Benalmadena. Benalnatura has everything you need to relax in the sun. There are showers, toilets, a barbecue area and a small snack bar with fried fish and a daily menu. Although this naturist beach gives the feeling of being in a small oasis surrounded by aloes, trees, palm trees, turf, cactus and bamboo pampas. By the N-340 from Malaga to Fuengirola, turn at the roundabout, just after the Casino of Torrequebrada, and follow the road to the right 50 meters. Unfortunately, the cove is very small and due to its great popularity is usually very crowded with people.



GUADALMAR

Playa de Guadalmar
Guadalmar Beach. Less than ten minutes from Malaga capital, you will find the only authorized naturist beach of the city. Playa de Guadalmar, is located at the mouth of the river Guadalhorce, in the district of San Julián. Many families are Spanish, and it has a quiet atmosphere, as long as you do not mind the noise of the planes, due to the proximity of Malaga airport. The beach is extensive, wide and sandy. There are showers, restrooms and beach bars. Coming from Malaga to Torremolinos, on the N-340, take the Guadalmar-San Julián exit at Km. 232. Follow the road that runs parallel to the motorway and go down to the beach. We listed it as one of the nudist beaches of Malaga, but not as one of the most recommended.



ALMAYATE BEACH

Beach of Almayate. This nudist beach have a pleasant atmosphere with tourists both Spanish and foreign. This semi-urban beach, belonging to the urban nucleus of Torre del Mar, in Vélez-Málaga, is completely naturist, and has as backdrop the mountains. It also has a snack bar where nudity is the norm and where you can get excellent value for money with the menu of the day or a seafood paella for two. Its public, especially on weekends in July and August. The rest of the year are the German and English tourists who visit it. Behind the beach and restaurant you will find the excellent Almanat Naturist camping.



CALA DEL PINO

Cala del Pino, Nerja
Cala del Pino. Another small jewel is Cala del Pino in Maro, near Nerja, on the easternmost Costa del Sol, very close to the coast of Granada, Cala del Pino is a nudist beach located at the bottom of a cliff surrounded by green. It forms part of the Cliffs of Maro-Cerro Gordo Natural Area. Access is an abrupt road: five minutes to get off at a good pace. If the pace is slower, it may take 15 to 20 minutes. But if you want to enjoy nature and nudism, and you do not mind carrying food, this is your place. Although most of the beach is stone, there is a narrow strip of sand that you can enjoy, if you arrive early. The sea can be a little scrambled, something that makes it especially attractive to those who enjoy jumping waves. Coming from Nerja by the N-340, once you have passed Maro, look for the signs of the Cliffs of Maro-Cerro Gordo and the Natural Park of Cala del Pino.
